Modpack Installation Guide

Welcome to Mine Industry v6! This guide will walk you through the complete installation process for our modpack. Whether you're a complete beginner or experienced player, follow these steps to get started.

System Requirements

Before installing, ensure your computer meets the minimum requirements:

Minimum Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10/11, macOS 10.14+, or Linux
• RAM: 8GB (4GB allocated to Minecraft)
• Storage: 5GB free space
• Java: Java 17 or higher (64-bit)
• Internet: Required for download and multiplayer

Recommended Requirements

• RAM: 16GB (8GB allocated to Minecraft)
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580 or better
• CPU: Intel i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or better

Installing Java

Mine Industry v6 requires Java 17 or higher. Here's how to install it:

1Check if Java is installed

Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac/Linux) and type:

java -version

If you see a version number like java version "17.x.x" or higher, you can skip to the next section.

2Download Java

Download the latest Java 17 LTS from one of these sources:

• Oracle Java: oracle.com/java
• Adoptium (Recommended): adoptium.net

3Install Java

Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure to install the 64-bit version.

Installing Forge

Forge is the mod loader required to run our modpack. Follow these steps carefully:

1Download Forge

Download Forge version 47.4.10 for Minecraft 1.20.1:

2Run the Forge Installer

1. Double-click the downloaded forge-1.20.1-47.4.10-installer.jar file
2. Select "Install client"
3. Click "OK" and wait for installation to complete
4. You should see "Successfully installed client profile Forge" message

3Verify Forge Installation

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher (you need restart launcher, if it was open during forge installation)
2. In the launcher, you should see a new profile called forge-1.20.1-47.4.10
3. Select this profile from the dropdown menu
4. Click "Play" to test (don't join the server yet)
5. If Minecraft launches with "Mods" button in main menu, Forge is installed correctly

Installing the Modpack

Now that Forge is ready, let's install the Mine Industry v6 modpack:

1Download the Modpack

Download our official modpack from the link below:

2Locate Your Minecraft Folder

Open your Minecraft folder:

• Windows: Press Win + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft, press Enter
• Mac: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G, type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
• Linux: Navigate to ~/.minecraft

3Install the Mods

1. Extract the downloaded MineIndustry-v6-Modpack.zip file
2. Copy all files from the mods folder
3. Paste them into your .minecraft/mods folder
4. If the mods folder doesn't exist, create it

4Install Config Files (Optional but Recommended)

1. Copy the config folder from the modpack
2. Paste it into your .minecraft folder
3. Choose "Replace all" if asked

Launching the Game

Time to launch Minecraft with our modpack and connect to the server:

1Allocate More RAM

For better performance, allocate at least 4-6GB of RAM to Minecraft:

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher
2. Select the Forge profile
3. Click "Installations" at the top
4. Hover over the Forge installation and click the three dots, then "Edit"
5. Click "More Options"
6. Find the JVM Arguments field
7. Change -Xmx2G to -Xmx6G (for 6GB) or -Xmx4G (for 4GB)
8. Click "Save"

2Launch Minecraft

1. Select the forge-1.20.1-47.4.10 profile
2. Click "Play"
3. Wait for Minecraft to load (first launch may take 2-5 minutes)
4. Check the mods list by clicking "Mods" in the main menu
5. You should see 80+ mods listed

3Connect to the Server

1. Click "Multiplayer"
2. Click "Add Server"
3. Server Name: Mine Industry v6
4. Server Address: 83.168.78.221:25565
5. Click "Done"
6. Double-click the server to join

Troubleshooting

Having issues? Here are solutions to common problems:

Game Crashes on Launch

• Make sure you're using Java 17 or higher (64-bit)
• Allocate at least 4GB of RAM
• Remove any extra mods not included in our modpack
• Check if you have the correct Forge version (47.4.10)
• Update your graphics drivers

"Invalid Session" or "Failed to Login"

• Restart the Minecraft Launcher
• Log out and log back in to your Microsoft/Mojang account
• Check your internet connection

Low FPS / Performance Issues

• Allocate more RAM (6-8GB recommended)
• Install OptiFine or Sodium (compatible versions available on our Discord)
• Lower render distance to 8-12 chunks
• Disable fancy graphics and smooth lighting
• Close other programs while playing

"Mod Rejections" or "Mod Mismatch"

• Download the latest modpack version from our website
• Remove ALL mods and install only the ones from our modpack
• Don't add any additional mods unless approved by server staff

Can't Connect to Server

• Check if the server is online at our homepage
• Verify server address: 83.168.78.221:25565
• Disable firewall/antivirus temporarily to test
• Try restarting your router
